Our tentative 2013 schedule will soon be listed below. Note that it changes monthly as we add tool and material lists for upcoming meetings or make adjustments as necessary.

January - ReClaim Dried Clay

Tuesday, January 15 -  7pm

Susan and Jennifer will demonstrate how to pulverize and rehydrate dry clay so it can still be used.

February - Etching Brass Tube Shapes (shell casings)

Tuesday, February 19
Lynette Fisk will show how she gets designs onto tube shapes for etching.

We'll talk about:
  • Cleaning
  • Removing firing caps and making holes
  • Resists
  • Getting designs onto curved surfaces
  • Polishing
  • Resources
Bring:
Sharpie or Staedtler Red permanent marker
Bullet casings if you have them (one size will be provided)

April - Basic Wire Working Skills

Tuesday, April 16 - 7:00 p.m.

Make your own jump rings, wrapped loops, closures, hooks, spirals and headpins. Bring your jewelry pliers, flush cutters, a small needle file and some wire (16, 18, 20, 22 and 24 - copper or craft wire) and learn! Small bench block and hammer also useful.

May - Making Bisque Clay Beads

Bring your metal clay tool kit, container to take home beads to fire.

June - Covering Bisque Beads with Silver Clay and Repairs to Dry Clay Pieces
